Paper Submissions

Full papers must be submitted here to the online submission and review site. All papers must be submitted by August 15, 2021. No papers will be accepted after this deadline. Authors will be advised via email of acceptance or rejection by October 28, 2021. If revisions are required, authors will be notified prior to that date. Papers will be limited to a maximum of five (5) pages; however companion papers may be submitted. Papers must be prepared in accordance with the PES Authors Kit. More details can be found here.

A maximum of 100 of the accepted full papers will be selected to be presented in Forum Sessions and the rest will be scheduled for presentation at an evening Poster Session. Authors will be notified whether or not their papers are selected for a Forum Session presentation. Presenters and session chairs will coordinate the duration and order of each presentation. Guidelines for PowerPoint slides can be found here.

*No extensions available beyond submission deadline.

These papers, primarily authored by industry members, must focus on non-commercial applications of new solutions and/or technologies in solving existing or emerging problems in power systems.

An author of an accepted PES Transactions paper who is interested in presenting it at the 2022 IEEE PES T&D Conference and Exposition must upload only the paper’s abstract to the online submission and review site by the deadlines listed above. The appropriate Technical Committee Program Chair (TCPC) will determine if the topic of the paper is suited for presentation in one of the technical sessions. The author will be notified of the decision by email, and only the abstract will be included in the Conference Proceedings.

Per IEEE policy, all presenters must register for the conference. Papers will not be released for publication in the Conference Proceedings or be scheduled for presentation unless the registration fee is paid. Furthermore, papers not presented will not be included in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library. Note: Registration deadline for authors may be earlier than the general registration deadline.
