Exhibitors Beware of Unofficial Vendors and Potential Scams 

Exhibitors are often contacted by various vendors looking to get their business. Be especially diligent when engaging with any vendor who is not an official contractor of IEEE PES T&D. Some exhibitors have reported receiving solicitations from these unofficial vendors. Our official vendors will NEVER send emails from a non-business account such as Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, etc. If you receive a solicitation and are unsure of the vendor’s affiliation with IEEE PES or T&D, please contact T&D Exhibits at (972) 521-9902 or tdexhibits@cemllc.com.  

Approved IEEE PES T&D Partner Companies:  

• Hotels – Connections Housing  Connections Housing is the only housing company authorized by IEEE PES T&D to provide housing services to conference participants. Connections Housing only works with Hotels contracted by IEEE. Beware of “too good to be true” room offers that require a pay now deposit. Connections Housing does not require a deposit or prepayment. If you have any questions about housing, please reach out to IEEEhousing@connectionshousing.com. Housing will open for the T&D Conference in late 2023. 
  
• Attendee Lists – Convention Data Services (CDS)  As the show gets closer and registration for attendees is open, ONLY REGISTERED EXHIBITORS will have access to order an attendee MAILING list or purchase an attendee EBLAST. Due to privacy restrictions IEEE PES T&D does NOT SELL attendee email lists. We have been notified that a third-party organization may be attempting to sell or re-sell registration lists from prior IEEE PES T&D events. Any such list is fraudulent, outside of standard agreements with exhibiting organizations. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact TDgeneral@ieee.org.

• Directory/Program Listings – IEEE PES T&D or Canfield Event Management (CEM) PLEASE NOTE, we are not associated with Fair Guide.  
  
• Customs Broker/International Shipping – DSV Fairs & Events 
  
• PES Show Issue Magazine – Representatives from the Source Group have contacted some exhibitors attempting to sell advertising slots for the next edition of a show daily. Please note that IEEE PES T&D has NO affiliation with the Source Group and their publications are strictly prohibited from being handed out at Ernest N.
