Technical Program
The IEEE PES T&D Conference & Exposition delivers practical, solution-oriented training on key trends impacting the industry, including case studies and lessons learned through a dynamic and robust series of super sessions, panel discussions, poster presentations, tutorials, and more.
The 2024 Technical Program will explore how the industry can take advantage of the new funding and technology that is now available to accelerate the modernization of the grid and make sustainable energy a reality. Join us for an important fireside chat with Nobel Prize Winning Economist Michael Spence to discuss the critical decisions facing the global energy future, and the hurdles that must be addressed to build the clean energy grid of tomorrow.
During the discussion, led by IEEE PES President Shay Bahramirad, Spence will address how the energy industry must identify how to reach an array of critical climate change goal, equity and affordability challenges of intensive capital required to adapt and mitigate the impact of climate change.

The IEEE PES Plain Talk courses are for the power industry professionals who do not have an engineering background.
