URGENT NOTICE REGARDING HOTEL RESERVATIONS:
Connections Housing is the only official housing agency for the IEEE PES T&D Conference and Exposition. Please be vigilant if dealing with any companies other than Connections Housing that imply an affiliation with the IEEE PES T&D Conference and Exposition. IEEE has been informed that other companies have aggressively pursued IEEE Conference attendees/exhibitors/members or their companies to use their services to book guest rooms at supposedly significant discounts. Unfortunately, some past attendees have reported problems with their reservations made through these companies.
For example, past attendees have reported that they:
- Lost their significant deposits
- Been relocated to another hotel with little or no warning
- Have not received reservations at the hotel they had thought were confirmed or at any hotel
We understand that this has caused great hardships and significant financial loss to these companies and individuals. Reservations made through an agency other than Connections Housing will be at your own risk. If you are contacted by another company trying to sell discounted hotel rooms, please notify show management at IEEEhousing@connectionshousing.com.
