Recognizing the growing influence of data centers in driving electricity demand, grid resilience, and energy innovation, this topic has been elevated to stand alongside the three established focus areas for stage presentations. This stage explores the rapidly evolving intersection between data center infrastructure and the electric power sector.

Topics will explore not only today’s challenges but also the strategic trajectory of utilities and data centers as they work to support the growing demands of a digital, data-driven world.

Key Topics:
  • Global & Regional Data Center Growth – Trends influencing the rise of hyperscale and edge facilities and their impact on energy infrastructure and planning.
  • Power Demand & Grid Impact – Load profiles, interconnection bottlenecks, and grid planning implications
  • Electrical Infrastructure Challenges – Designing scalable, resilient, and high-availability power systems to support data-intensive operations and sustainability goals..
  • Regulatory & Business Model Evolution – Navigating policy changes, permitting hurdles, innovative ownership structures, and new utility/data center collaboration models, including energy-as-a-service and behind-the-meter solutions.
  • Emerging Technologies – Exploring AI-ready infrastructure, thermal efficiency breakthroughs, and next-generation design approaches that define the future of data centers.

The Grid Edge Technologies Stage explores the dynamic frontier where power systems, digital innovation, and customer engagement converge. This forum brings together utility leaders, technologists, researchers, and policymakers to examine how emerging solutions at the grid’s edge are redefining how electricity is generated, distributed, and consumed.

This stage dives deep into the technologies shaping the future of energy, from distributed energy resources (DERs) and smart grids to charging infrastructure and cybersecurity. Learn how connected utilities, smart city solutions, and evolving energy policies are accelerating the shift to a more intelligent, resilient, and sustainable grid.

Key Topics:
  • Microgrid control and management
  • Smart meters and intelligent infrastructure
  • Electric mobility & EV charging networks
  • Smart cities & digital utility transformation
  • Grid cybersecurity

The Resilience & Renewables Stage is the premier destination for exploring transformative advancements in clean, sustainable power. Tailored for energy professionals, utility leaders, innovators, and policymakers, this dynamic platform showcases how renewable energy is rapidly reshaping global energy systems and driving the transition to a low-carbon future.

Through expert-led sessions, panel discussions, and real-world case studies, attendees will gain deep insights into the scaling and integration of utility-scale solar, wind, hydro, geothermal, and bioenergy into modern power grids. Topics will also explore the critical role of storage, hybrid systems, and digital tools in managing variability and ensuring grid resiliency.  With the clean energy economy gaining momentum through policy incentives and private investment, this stage offers the knowledge and strategies needed to lead the renewable revolution.

Key Topics:
  • Cutting-edge trends in solar, wind, and other renewable energy technologies
  • Strategies for integrating renewables into existing grid infrastructure
  • Advances in energy storage and hybrid systems
  • Best practices in renewable energy financing and project development
  • Policy frameworks and incentives are accelerating clean energy deployment
