The 2026 IEEE PES T&D Conference & Expo will be hosted at McCormick Place, South Building, the largest convention center in North America. It offers state-of-the-art facilities and easy access to downtown, the lakefront, and all that Chicago has to offer. It is the ideal world-class venue for our global audience of energy professionals.

Airports

Chicago is served by two major international airports: O’Hare International Airport (ORD) Approximately 18 miles from McCormick Place Midway International Airport (MDW) Approximately 10 miles from McCormick Place Both airports offer direct rail, shuttle, and ride-share access to the city.

Public Transportation

The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) provides affordable and reliable service throughout the city via trains and buses. McCormick Place is served by the Green Line and multiple CTA bus routes.
